Architectural History Tour of Cathedral Hill
June 23 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
The history of Cathedral Hill revealed through its architecture…
Join us for a walking tour of one of the oldest neighborhoods in St. Paul. We’ll meet at the former home of Happy Gnome (498 Selby Avenue) and learn what its square cupola tells us about its past life. A stroll down Selby will reveal a dynamic neighborhood with a storied history. Let’s peek into the past when we end our tour and begin happy hour at The Commodore Bar & Restaurant, restored to its 1920s Jazz-age glamour. The tour will be led by 106 Group Sr. Architectural Historian and St. Paul native Erin Que. If you can’t make the tour, join us for happy hour.
This is a one-hour (half-mile) walking tour, so please come dressed to walk and be outdoors.
Tour: 5:30pm to 6:30pm, meet at Happy Gnome (498 Selby Avenue)
Happy Hour: 6:30pm at The Commodore (79 Western Avenue)
Fee: Nope, nada, zilch…the tour is free for all!
