February 28 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER. PLEASE NOTE NEW FEBRUARY DATE!
Help identify ways we can work to better educate future environmental professionals! This event is for members and non-members of MNAEP and the board members of the Minnesota Association of Environmental Education to mix and mingle regarding their environmental fields and interests as well as look at ways we may collaborate in the future in both our organizations and careers.
A little background on Minnesota Association of Environmental Education: The Minnesota Association for Environmental Education (MAEE) is advancing environmental education throughout the state. MAEE was founded in 1992 and is a state affiliate of the international North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), as well as a member of the MN Green Schools Coalition (MNGSC). MAEE is working to connect every child to nature, get people outside and develop environmental ethics in Minnesota’s youth and adults. Their members include classroom teachers and administrators, non-formal educators, outdoor recreation providers, natural resource professionals, naturalists and allies.
Snacks will be provided, with water, soda and the finest Steel Toe taps available for purchase. The first drink for 2019 MNAEP members is free. If you haven’t renewed for 2019, or become a member yet, sign up before or on the day of the event and you do not need to pay the fee to attend and your first drink is free!
Free for MNAEP and MAEE Members. $5 for non-members.
