It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a…. raptor! MNAEP has reserved a tour of the Gabbert Raptor Center on Saturday, November 16th from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.

The Gabbert Raptor Center was established in 1974 as part of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. The Raptor Center sees around 1,000 sick and injured raptors each year in their clinic, as well as helping to identify emerging environmental issues related to raptor health and populations. This internationally renowned education facility trains veterinary students and veterinarians from around the world to become future leaders in raptor medicine and conservation.

This event is open to members and non-members of MNAEP. Attendance fee is $5. Please email minnesotaaep@gmail.com to RSVP by November 9th if you plan to attend this event to help us give the facility a final count.
