Why Become a Member?
We are actively looking to include environmental professionals from all facets of environmental review and analysis – biology, cultural resources, water resources, environmental justice, and others. Benefits of membership in MNAEP include:
- Networking – reaching the diverse community of environmental professions, including consultants, agencies, and students
- Collaboration – sharing expertise with professionals across organizations and fields to identify specific solutions for real-world scenarios
- Development – maintaining and developing our profession in MN
- Education – sharing new information and innovations with colleagues; receive discounted rates on continuing education and seminars from NAEP
General members attend events for free admission. General members include associate, senior, or fellow members of the Chapter. General members are all eligible to vote in Chapter elections.
Persons enrolled as a full-time student and expecting to continue as a student for six months or more are eligible for Student Membership. Student members are eligible to vote in Chapter elections. Upon graduation, Student Members will transfer to General Membership in the following calendar year.
Corporations, organizations, or other groups who participate in or support the environmental profession and the Chapter are eligible for Corporate/Group membership. Corporate/Group Members are entitled to five General Memberships in the chapter. These members may vote in Chapter elections and may hold Chapter elected office. These members must be designated by the corporation or group for one calendar year.
