MNAEP is excited to host a webinar with representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District.
Representatives will discuss permitting requirements under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA). A summary of overall CWA permitting requirements, details of the St. Paul District’s Transportation Regional General Permit (RGP) and reissuance of Nationwide Permits (NWPs) will be provided. Please come prepared to learn and engage on Clean Water Act permitting. There will be a Q&A session for the last 15 minutes of the webinar where you can ask all of those difficult permitting questions to the Corps.
Chad Konickson is the Chief of the St. Paul District Regulatory Division. Mr. Konickson leads 60-70 staff in Minnesota and Wisconsin in their mission to protect the Nation’s aquatic resources and navigation capacity, while allowing reasonable development through fair and balanced permit decisions. Meghan Brown is a Lead Project Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District and is positioned in La Crescent, Minnesota. She is part of the St. Paul South Regulatory team responsible for evaluating projects pursuant to Section 10 of the River and Harbors Act and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act in nine counties in Minnesota. Ben Orne is a Project Manager in the Policy Branch of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Division in St. Paul. He serves as a transportation liaison and is responsible for evaluating Minnesota Department of Transportation permit applications for priority highway projects in Minnesota and developing processes and procedures to streamline the evaluation of such projects in the future.
